Intelligent Lighting

 

Ledalite is pioneering the smart lighting arena and the example above is clear evidence.  The Airwave system makes energy decisions based on an array of sensors, photodetectors, and solor panels.  The intelligent design and multiple sensor integration spells out the advantages of LED lights over others. If the system detects enough ambient light, then it will dim or shut down to conserve power.  In the mean time solar power is being collected for later use.

A similar scheme using incandescent or CFL lighting would require extra hardware and increase the wear and tear on the bulbs due to constant power sourcing. 

Ledalite isn’t the only company using sensors to wirelessly monitor the ambient conditions and actively make smart energy decisions.  I’ve included the Ledalite’s spec sheet below for their Airwave system pictured above.  It’s truly fascinating.  Imagine this or something like it in your home or office.
